The End of Days………

Yet another phase of life is coming to an end. Very soon we will be thrown into the turmoil of life, of everyday struggle, of finding a higher purpose for ourselves.

I am anxious though, like a person who is about to emerge from an old familiar world into a new world, full of wonder and peril.I wonder how much of this  old world will be with me? If I were to rely on experience, I would say ‘sadly very little’. However this new beginning offers us the chance of a new life with the wisdom of yore but without the inhibitions of the past.

Sometimes I see life itself being made up of many lives.With the end of each of these mini lives, we can start a new and a better beginning. Each ‘life’ has its share of joys and sorrows, moments of triumph and despair, and then suddenly it all comes to an end and a new ‘life’ begins.To some it offers a second chance to redeem themselves , to others a seamless extension of their past. What would life be if it were one long monologue? For some it would be tainted by sorrows, for others it would be filled with monotonous joy.

I then rejoice in this rebirth,in  this resurrection of the human spirit. I can only say that we must remember that

  “In a single birth, there are many rebirths”

We are like butterflies and every moment of life is but a flower, some smell sweet while others pungent, but each one of them carries sweet nectar.

Carpe Diem-live life to the fullest.
